Vest Gold

The beauty of the yarns in this vest made it a total joy to knit. I used my own boutique yarn, FUSION, which is a combination of a dozen or more different yarns. When knitted it creates a unique texture and colorway.

I call this colorway "Tuscany" because the colors remind me the colors there. It is predominately gold, but also has shades of blue, green, pink and beige. It's a stunning combination. There is also a touch of eyelash and metallic. The vest is finished with side panels and front edging of moss stitch in solid gold yarn which is a blend of 85% wool and 15% mohair.

For closure I have knitted a tab and used a wooden shawl pin, which can be worn with many other pieces of knitwear. The shawl pin measures 4 x 2-inches.

Because the vest is knitted side to side, it creates vertical lines which are complimentary to all shapes.

This vest is a Woman's Medium. It measures 40 inches at the bust, 13 1/2-inches from the underarm down and is a total 24-inches from the shoulder to bottom edge. The armhole openings are 11-inches deep.

Yarns include wool, mohair, cotton, linen, rayon, acrylic, eyelash and metallic.

Hand wash this hand knitted garment.
