Sweater Pillow Set Olive Navy Plaid

Mad about plaid? Here's a knitted set of plaid sweater pillows in olive, navy, red and brown just for you!

Knitted pillows are very much the decor statement right now. I've taken the idea and am using up cycled sweaters to make them.

Sewn from a 100% cotton up cycled sweater from Nautica, this pillow cover set is backed with a dark navy denim fabric which you can see in the picture of stacked pillows.

These covers will fit one 14 and one 20-inch pillow inserts. I recommend using feather inserts for a softer pillow and easier insertion into this style cover. Please note these covers actually measure a bit smaller than the insert recommended. They are cut to the insert size, but when sewn lose a small portion of their dimension. This insures a plumper pillow.

These pillow covers are not just for decor, but made to be used. I have machine washed and dried the sweater and the fabric used to back the covers. All inside edges have been serged with an overlapping stitch for strength and to prevent raveling. Closure is with a "fold-over" panel in the back.

This set will be perfect with your cottage, country or cabin chic or lake house decor.

Machine wash and dry, cold water, gentle cycle.
