Sweater Pillow Set Turquoise Celtic Cable

This set of cabled knit "Sweater Pillow" Covers, made from an up cycled turquoise cotton sweater is just the finishing touch for your cottage chic decor!

This set of 2 pillow covers will fit one 14-inch insert and one 12-inch insert. Please note the actual covers measure a little less than the inserts recommended. The covers are cut to the insert's measurement, but lose a bit of their dimension when sewn. This creates a plumper pillow. I recommend the use of feather insets for a softer pillow.

The back closure is with a fold-over flap to enable easy insertion and removal of your pillow forms. The backings are sewn with a 100% coordinating cotton fabric, which you can see in Picture 5.

All inside edges have been sewn with an overlock stitch for strength and to prevent raveling.

The larger cover has an intricate "woven" cable design down its center with smaller cables on each side. The smaller cover is an all over cable stitch pattern. These covers are a vivid turquoise color.

These covers are not just for decoration but are meant to be used. I have machine washed and dried the original sweater and the fabric used for the backing. You can do the same as needed. I recommend using a cold water wash and gentle cycle.

Please note these covers were made from an up cycled sweater, not a new one, but are in excellent condition.
