Sweater Pillow Set Rust Argyle

Knit argyle sweater pillow covers in rust, taupe and charcoal cotton will give your cottage chic decor just the right touch of retro! These covers were made from an up cycled cotton sweater from Dockers.

These covers will fit two 18-inch inserts. I recommend using feather inserts for a softer pillow and easier insertion into this style cover. Please note these covers actually measure a bit smaller than the insert recommended. They are cut to the insert size, but when sewn lose a small portion of their dimension. This insures a plumper pillow.

One cover is the classic argyle motif of charcoal and taupe on the rust background. There is a touch of blue also. The second cover is the same rust used on the first, but it is a solid stockinette stitch. Both covers are backed with a taupe colored cotton twill fabric, which you can see in Picture 3. Closure is with a "fold-over" style.

I have machine washed and dried the original sweater and backing fabric. You can do the same as needed, using a gentle cycle and cold water.

All inside seams have been serged to prevent raveling.
