The "Daisy" Hat Plum

Inspired by Daisy in THE GREAT GATSBY, this hand knitted cloche in rich plum and with a fold back brim is adorable!

The brim is a solid plum yarn of 85% mohair and 15% wool. The cap is knitted in Buttermilk Cottage's own boutique yarn, FUSION, which is a combination of a dozen or more different yarns. When knitted, it creates a unique colorway and texture. This color way has many shades of plum with touches of teal, pink, rose, and some metallic eyelash for a fun effect.

The hand knitted petal brooch in a space dyed yarn of different shades of teal with touches of green and lots of metallic eyelash knitted into it.  It is attached with a corsage pin. It can be worn with the hat or as a separate accessory. It looks great pinned to the lapel of a jacket.

Medium Women's Size. Base of crown is approximately 20-inches, with plenty of "give." Crown is 7-inches deep. The brim measures 5.5-inches in depth.

Hand wash.
