Sweater Pillow Single Pastel Knit

The knit front of this pillow cover was hand knitted by me using a variety of pastel colored yarns. In this sweater pillow you will find pink, yellow, blue, green, violet, white, and aqua. The combination is sweet and pretty. One yarn, which was the inspiration for the original knitting has small bobbles of all the colors used, giving the overall pillow a textural effect. Yarns used are a variety of cottons, acrylics and blends. All are machine washable. The cover is backed with a solid white cotton blend fabric.

This pillow cover is not just for decor, but made to be used. I have machine washed and dried the knitted fabric and the backing fabric used to make this cover. All inside edges have been serged with an overlapping stitch for strength. Closure is with a "fold-over" panel in the back.

This cover will fit an 18-inch pillow insert. I recommend using feather inserts for a softer pillow and easier insertion into this style cover. Please note these covers actually measure a bit smaller than the insert recommended. They are cut to the insert size, but when sewn lose a small portion of their dimension. This insures a plumper pillow.

This pillow will be perfect in the baby's nursery. What new mommy doesn't need a comfy pillow behind her back?
