Vest Blue

Zoe has a dilemma. She was invitied for a quick weekend trip to Nantucket. Her friend, Leonardo would pick her up in his two-seater. No room for lots of luggage. What to take that would be versitile enough for a couple of wearings? Eureka! Her new blue hand knit vest! It was perfect paired with a white tee and faded jeans for the trip. Later in the weekend she could pair it with her navy linen pants for a dinner out... Dilemma solved!

I knitted this vest with my own boutique yarn, FUSION, using colorway "Sky." FUSION is a combination of a dozen or more different yarns. When knitted it creates a wonderful texture and color. I have paired it with a creamy, off white blend of 80% wool and 15% mohair yarn.

The vest is finished with three beautiful blue buttons which have a touch of metallic for sparkle.

Knitted from side to side, the vest is flattering to all shapes because of its vertical lines.

Size Medium. Measurements for the vest are 38-inches at the bust. Length from the underarm to bottom of the vest is 12 1/2-inches and overall length from the shoulder to bottom of the vest is 22-inches.

As with all hand made clothing, hand washing or dry cleaning is recommended.

Fibers used include wool, mohair, cotton, rayon, and alpaca. There is also a touch of eyelash for texture and metallic for bling.
