Sweater Pillow Set Navy Stripe

These fun stripe knit pillow covers from a cotton up cycled sweater have a definite nautical flavor and are backed with dark denim.

Made from a cotton sweater from Liz & Co this set of two pillow covers will fit 20- and 14-inch pillow inserts. I recommend using down inserts for a softer pillow.

The overall knit pattern of both covers is a smooth stockinette stitch alternating off white and navy stripes. The larger cover breaks the solid stripe with an offset of the motif in a triangular shape. This detailing was at the front neck of the sweater. These covers would be perfect in your cottage chic, lake house or cabin decor. I also think they would be great in a dorm room or a boy's room.

Both covers are backed with a dark navy denim which you can see in Picture 4. Closure is with a "fold-over" feature, making it easy for you to insert your pillows. All inside seams have been serged for strength and to prevent raveling.

The original sweater and backing fabric have been machine washed and dried. You can do the same, as needed, using cold water and a gentle cycle.

Please note these covers are made from an up cycled sweater, not a new one.
