Sweater Pillow Beige Cables

Made from an up cycled cotton beige sweater, this pillow cover an all over pattern of cables and textured seed stitch.  Three sides are encircled with small, repeating cables.  

This cover is for an  18  pillow insert. I recommend using a feather insert for a softer pillow and easier insertion into this style cover. Please note this cover actually measure a bit smaller than the insert recommended. It was cut to the insert size, but when sewn lost a small portion of its dimension. This insures a plumper pillow.

Closure is with a "fold-over" panel in the back. It is backed with a coordinating cotton fabric which you can see in Pictures 4 and 5.

Please note this cover is made from an up cycled sweater, not a new one. 

This pillow cover is not just for decor, but made to be used. I have machine washed and dried the sweater and the fabric used to back the cover. You can do the same, as needed using cold water and a gentle cycle. All inside edges have been serged with an overlapping stitch for strength.
