Sweater Pillow Set Red Simple Cable

This set of red cable knit pillow covers from an acrylic up cycled sweater from Tommy Hilfiger will give your cottage chic decor a real pop of color!

These covers will fit one 20-inch insert and one 14-inch pillow insert. I recommend using feather inserts for a softer pillow and easier insertion into this style cover. Please note these covers actually measure a bit smaller than the insert recommended. They are cut to the insert size, but when sewn lose a small portion of their dimension. This insures a plumper pillow.

The covers are backed with a solid red cotton  twill, which you can see in the pictures of stacked pillows. Closure is with an envelope style.

Except in size, both covers match and the front design motif is a repeating simple cable.

All inside seams have been serged to prevent raveling.

I have machine washed and dried the original sweater and the fabric used for the backing. You can do the same, as needed, using a gentle cycle and cold water.

Please note these covers are from an up cycled sweater, not a new one.
