This Sweater Pillow cover was made from an acrylic sweater which you can see in Picture 4. It has a center Celtic cable flanked on each side with two more simpler cables.

This pillow cover is for an 14-inch insert. I recommend using feather inserts for a softer pillow and easier insertion into this style cover. Please note this cover actually measures a bit smaller than the insert recommended. It was cut to the insert size, but when sewn loses a small portion of its dimension. This insures a plumper pillow.

Closure is with a "fold-over" panel in the back. The cover is backed with a coordinating cotton fabric which you can see in Pictures 2.

Please note this cover is made from an up cycled sweater, not a new one.

This pillow cover is not just for decor, but made to be used. I have machine washed and dried the sweater and the fabric used to back the cover. You can do the same, as needed using cold water and a gentle cycle. All inside edges have been serged with an overlapping stitch for strength.
